The Devastation of Mariupol

Director, producer, editor for Human Rights Watch

TRT 22:45

In collaboration with HRW’s Digital Investigation’s OSINT team, this video analyzes the Russian military assault on the Ukrainian city of Mariupol with footage found solely online. Thousands of civilians were killed or injured, in apparently unlawful attacks, and hundreds of thousands were trapped for weeks without basic services. The video played in front of the EU Parliament and a US Congressional Committee that determines policy in Ukraine. This was one of the most viewed documentaries for Human Rights Watch in 2024.
